Man Utd transfer news: Marcus Rashford's Barcelona move hits snag as personal terms agreed
Manchester United are in the throes of a massive overhaul under Ruben Amorim this summer, following their worst-ever Premier League season.
The Reds ended up in a dismal 15th place last term and missed out on Champions League qualification after a defeat to Tottenham in the Europa League final.
Jonny Evans, Christian Eriksen, and Victor Lindelof have all exited Old Trafford on free transfers, while it's anticipated that Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, and Tyrell Malacia will be offloaded.
United have already splashed out £62.5million to bring in Matheus Cunha from Wolves and are also in talks for Brentford ace Bryan Mbeumo, having tabled an increased offer north of £60m.
With all these moves afoot, Daily Star Sport has rounded up the latest transfer gossip and news from Old Trafford....
Jadon Sancho discussions
Reports suggest Manchester United have been in dialogue with Juventus over a potential deal for Jadon Sancho, with Fenerbahce also showing interest in the winger, reports the Mirror.
Italian sources claim Juventus were eager to gauge the feasibility of a Sancho move and club bigwigs had a video chat with United on Wednesday to thrash out a deal. Juventus are on the hunt for a new winger, as both Timothy Weah and Samuel Mbangula are set to depart.
However, Turkish reports allege that Sancho has agreed personal terms with Fenerbahce. They're reportedly ready to shell out €10m (£8.5m) per year for Sancho, while United have slapped a price tag of around €20m (£17m) on him.
Christopher Nkunku hint
Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has hinted that Christopher Nkunku could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge this summer, amid reported interest from Manchester United.
Nkunku has found it tough to nail down a regular spot since joining Chelsea from RB Leipzig two years ago, and when quizzed about the player's future, Maresca said: "If Christo is here with us, it is because we think he can help us and he can be with us even next season.
"But as you said, there are many speculations, not just about Christo, about many players.
"And then if something is going to happen, I don't know because we said many times when the transfer window is open, anything can happen in terms of players that can arrive or players that can leave."
Marcus Rashford loan switch
The Guardian claims Barcelona are eyeing up a loan deal for Manchester United's Marcus Rashford this summer.
The forward is set to leave Old Trafford, and has publicly dropped hints about a potential switch to the Nou Camp. According to the report, United will push for a loan fee, but might have to compromise on Rashford's wages.
As one of United's top earners, raking in a reported £370,000-a-week, it's suggested the Red Devils "may be forced to accept" a deal where Barcelona only stump up a portion of his wages.
